Why your email is not sending or receiving

Email problems are usually quick to fix. Work through these common causes.

Can't send or receive?

  1. Check your login — use your full email address as the username and confirm the password.
  2. Check server settings — incoming/outgoing should be mail.yourdomain.co.za with SSL ports (993 IMAP, 465 SMTP).
  3. Mailbox full? If you're over quota, new mail bounces — clear space or raise the quota.
  4. Outgoing blocked? Some networks block port 465/587; try another connection or contact us.

Messages marked as spam?

Ask the recipient to check their spam folder. Setting up SPF and DKIM (we can help) improves delivery.
