How to give a client access to cPanel

Once you've created a client's account, they can log in to cPanel to manage their own site, email and files.

Share their login

  1. When you created the account in WHM, you set a username and password — share these securely with your client.
  2. They log in at theirdomain.co.za/cpanel, or via https://server-ip:2083.

Reset a client's password

In WHM, search for Password Modification, choose the account and set a new password. Send it to the client over a secure channel.

Tips

  • Encourage clients to change their password after first login.
  • You can also log in to any client's cPanel directly from WHM's List Accounts page — handy for support.
