How to find your domain EPP (auth) code

To transfer a domain to another registrar, you need its EPP code (also called an auth or transfer code) — a password that authorises the move.

Get your EPP code

  1. Log in to your client area.
  2. Go to Domains → My Domains and open the domain.
  3. Make sure the domain is unlocked, then look for Get EPP Code (or Auth Code).
  4. The code is shown on screen or emailed to your registrant address.

Using it

Give this code to your new registrar when you start the transfer. Keep it private — anyone with it could move your domain.

Note

Some extensions (like .co.za) use a different transfer process and don't use EPP codes. Can't find the option? Open a ticket.
