Understanding your billing cycle and pro-rata charges

A little clarity on how BPHOST billing works makes invoices easy to understand.

Billing cycles

You choose how often to be billed for a service — monthly, annually, and so on. Longer cycles often cost less per month. We email an invoice before each cycle so your service renews on time.

What's pro-rata?

Pro-rata means you only pay for the part of a period you actually use. If you order mid-month, your first invoice is adjusted so future invoices line up with a consistent renewal date. The same applies when you upgrade — you pay only the difference for the remaining time.

Changing your cycle

You can often switch billing cycle when renewing or upgrading. Want to align several services to one renewal date? Ask us and we'll help tidy it up.
